Skylight Stop Leak

Skylights. Loved by homeowners, decor enthusiasts – pretty much everyone. They add brightness and beauty to the room. The natural light they bring in provides thermal and visual benefits, and they just look so good. Put simply; they’re just great.

Except, they can be pretty hard to maintain. Their positioning makes them highly vulnerable to weather conditions, and as a result, skylight owners have to deal with all sorts of inconveniences from time to time. Skylights are particularly notorious for leaking. The leaks can result in water damage, and in worse cases, costly repairs or replacements – and I think it’s safe to say that skylights are expensive enough as it is.

It would be great if you could just get a skylight made once and then not have to worry about it every time it rains… right?

That’s where the Skylight Stop Leak comes in. The Skylight Stop Leak is a recent invention by creators Ross and Claudia Owens. Designed to protect skylights from anything and everything the environment can throw at them.

Prevents Leaks and Water Damage

The Skylight Stop Leak covers your skylight. It seals the outside of the skylight nicely and snuggly so that water cannot come into contact with the skylight, and there is no possibility of a leak. The shroud deflects water away from the skylight.

Protects the Skylight From the Environment

That’s not all, though. Besides preventing water damage, the Skylight Stop Leak features a host of additional benefits.

The Skylight Stop Leak acts as a thermal barrier between the outside environment and the skylight. It acts as an insulator, helping to reduce heat loss through the skylight when it is cold outside (when it is snowing, for example). This also helps reduce condensation on the skylight’s inner side – something that can cause damage to the skylight over time.

The Skylight Stop Leak preserves the original functionality of the skylight by not letting the environment influence its condition in any way. It will keep the skylight safe if there happens to be a hailstorm or if someone happens to throw an object such as a rock or a ball that lands on your skylight. Skylight repairs are expensive, so it’s better to take precautions.

Built With Convenience in Mind

The Skylight Stop Leak is light and easy to handle. Installation is quick, easy, and convenient. DIY enthusiasts can carry out the installation themselves. A typical installation takes less than 30 minutes!

Fully Engineered – Ready For Commercial Use
